Owner & Instructor: Amy Furyk

 

Amy has been teaching the Kindermusik program for 6 years and became the proud owner of Blossom Musik on July 1st, 2016.  Since then she expanded to multiple location including Ancaster, Burlington & Binbrook.  After going on the road with her music program for a year and a half, Amy decided to plant some roots and set up her own studio space in Ancaster in January 2018 and Blossom Musik Studio was born.  Due to the hardships of Covid19, the studio faced a closure but Miss Amy found a way to bring music to the community through virtual classes and outdoor experiences.

Amy is a licensed Kindermusik Educator as well as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, specializing in pregnancy and pediatric nutrition.  She appreciates the fact that wellness comes from not only eating right and being active, but also from music, joy and laughter.

With an educational background in developmental psychology and her lifelong commitment to music and singing, Amy strives to provide an engaging music class for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners. She seeks a fine balance between providing an opportunity for fun-filled adventure and also an environment full of many significant and wonderful learning experiences.  As the mother of two young children, she understands that classes are always rich with spontaneity and require a touch of patience, kindness and of course silliness.
