About Our Program
Blossom Musik proudly a music and movement program unlike any other. Classes are specifically designed for your child’s developmental stage, featuring activities that support and nurture all areas of your child’s development; physical, emotional, social, and cognitive. Along with being fun and engaging, Blossom Musik is educational and will give your child a fundamental appreciation of music starting from an early age!
Our Story
Amy became the proud owner of Blossom Musik on July 1st, 2016. Since then she expanded to multiple location including Ancaster, Burlington, Dundas Waterdown & Binbrook. After going on the road with her music program for a year and a half, Amy decided to plant some roots and set up her own studio space in Ancaster in January 2018 and Blossom Musik Studio was born. Due to the hardships of Covid19, the studio faced a closure but Miss Amy found a way to bring music to the community through virtual classes and outdoor experiences. She is now operating out of a several locations in the Hamilton & Burlington regions.
Amy has been a music educator for 8 years, as well as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, specializing in pregnancy and pediatric nutrition. She appreciates the fact that wellness comes from not only eating right and being active, but also from music, joy and laughter. In her spare time she also enjoys rocking out as lead singer in two local bands.
With an educational background in developmental psychology and her lifelong commitment to music and singing, Amy strives to provide an engaging music class for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners. She seeks a fine balance between providing an opportunity for fun-filled adventure and also an environment full of many significant and wonderful learning experiences. As the mother of two children, she understands that classes are always rich with spontaneity and require a touch of patience, kindness and of course silliness.
Music Matters
Psychologists, neuroscientists, and experts in early childhood development have demonstrated that music does more for children than bring them joy; it helps their brain cells make the connections needed for virtually every kind of intelligence. Kindermusik’s curriculum is built on this research.
When young children are consistently engaged by music in an age-appropriate, socially accepting environment, they benefit at many levels:
- They gain the phonological processing, spoken language, and comprehension skills that are the foundation of reading.
- They build the spatial-temporal and reasoning skills required for math, science, and engineering.
- They develop social and emotional skills that are essential for school readiness—like the ability to regulate their responses and relate to others in complex ways.
BLOSSOM MUSIK
With multiple locations - this music program is ideally situated for families in Ancaster, Dundas, Hamilton, Waterdown, Burlington and surrounding areas. Classes are held in-person by a trained music educator who will joyfully guide the class from one activity to the next and help you understand what your child is learning musically, cognitively, and developmentally.
Classes are 30 minutes, featuring research-based curricula to enhance every area of your child’s development and instill a lifelong love for music – all the while giving you time together and memories you’ll treasure forever.
Sessions with Blossom Musik run for 4 weeks, offering programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Remember that there is a discount for siblings! Contact Miss Amy if you have any questions about registration or her programs.

We love the classes at Blossom Musik! I started taking my daughter as an infant and she loved the colours, sounds and movements of the class. We have been going to Miss Amy’s Kindermusik class for over 2 years (since my daughter was 5 months). Miss Amy has an incredible voice and does an amazing job keeping all the babies through to toddlers engaged in all class. From instruments to hoops to scarfs to bubbles there is never a dull moment.

We have been coming to Miss Amy’s classes for the past 6 months and it is the highlight of our week! My daughter loves her and is always so engaged with the use of instruments, props and lots of singing and dancing! Miss Amy takes the time to interact with all of the babies and builds a real connection with them! We couldn’t be happier with her kindermusik program and new studio space and will continue to register in the different programs and age groups she offers!
